Questions about pets

Ive read many different posts.
Im looking to train a rune beetle and have some questions.
Is magery/poison good to keep?
If switching ti discord, then why? Tune corruption, per the information,  annihilated the resist anyway.

And good, tested builds available?

    Ask anything there, do a search for a pet type and there is most likely a guide for that pet. 

    No rune beetle guide.  They are so 2010s.

  • Here's an example of a Disco Rune Beetle build from a 65% rating 3 slot. https://www.uo-cah.com/saved-planner?id=fwO1TlUylF
    As you can see, they end up with low HP, and the Bleed Attack cannot be removed and is a waste of Mana and RC uptime.

    That bleed attack looks great on paper. Just a mana sink tho. Does going magery mastery remove poisoning?

    Yes. Magery pets are a slight increase over having no magic. IMO.

    You can copy to Test center. Use the gates in Brit Commons to advance the pet training and see what removes what and how many things you can add to a pet.  Always do magic changes last. Take multiples of or tame pets there.

    From being killed and harassed by rune Beatles before the taming revamp, you would think they would make good pets.
    Only the exploited ones have decent stats.
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

    Yes there were lots of Rune Beetles in our stables to experiment with. And they can get all the good magics. So it is a shame.  The exploit ones are very good.  

    We should be able to cap every category in pet training IMO.
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.
