Main Event - SECRET | The Man from Earth
Friday, August 4th 9PM KST (GMT+9)
Meeting Place: Trammel, Britain EM Hall
Rashid the mage was one of marked man to Royal Spy as he caused New Haven incident and stole the Book of the Dead from Umbra. They have been trying to cooperate with Nujel’m but they kept refuse their request. But everything has changed since the SECRET’s gate test run. They realized that the entire world is at risk.
One of great magus Zafar Ibn Mashar of Nujel’m accepted Royal Spy’s request. He tells there’s someone who had that name before. He was one of brightest and great magus but he had dangerous ideology. He despited magi because they were believed that nature born magi were chosen by the nature and it’s right to have privileges and using it to rule the kingdom under the auspices of the Sultan.
Although he was one of them, he refused to believe such story and he wanted to prove that he could create an ordinary man to magi artificially to break their belief. This is considered as not only betrayal to the Order of Magi, also to the Kingdom. While he was doing experiment, they raided his lab, capture him, and executed him.
Zafar Ibn Mashar was there when they executed him so he tried to dig up his grave. Agent Ryan and Zafar found he’s still dead but someone already cast a spell long time ago making him lich when he was awaken. It was a trap and it makes Agent Ryan believes someone he knew done this. Zafar remembered there’s a boy name Naseem who escaped from the raid. Agent Ryan is convinced that he’s the one and he succeed his experiment, making Naseem to magus.
It is highly possible that he joined the SECRET after he escaped from Nujel’m and uses alias and Enrico Grove’s support to join the Moonglow to collect knowledge of Ethereal Void to make their plan come true. When Agent Ryan report to the Archmage Sienna, Claudia the Mad Tinker managed to modify the abnormal detector to locate SECRET. It indicates Fire Isle where the Black Gate is, and tearing it down. Sienna tried to contact with workers and researchers but there’s no answer. Agent Ryan goes there quickly and found them all dead. Suddenly Naseem showed up and acknowledged his theory. And he wanted him dead because he’s getting too closer to their scheme. He set a trap by supply energy to destroyed Black Gate to make false frequency to lure them. He summoned series of ethereal creatures to kill everyone but he failed. Agent Ryan is now capturing one of marked man and high ranking mage of the SECRET to find out everything he knows.
**NOTE:
Please do not cast mass spells causing lag except for combat purpose. It causes too much lag to the others and EM as well to proceed the event scenario and may delay the event.
Please do not cast gate travel to anyone nearby that may lead the others accidentally get into. I’ve been witness someone who did on purpose multiple times, and such action shall not be tolerated in future.
If EM witness inappropriate actions including above, EM will deal with them; not just pause the event and warn them but also report to GMs to take care of.
