laggy subserver (extended period)

"Received reports for a while of serps hold fel Atlantic and ocllo being really laggy, has been going on for weeks now. They are both on the same subserver. Seems to only be this subserver suffering this issue

Even if you're the only player on that subserver, you suffer lag"

    Yep, response time in the fel serpents hold area varies, up to 600ms. (6x+ normal).  Is intermittent, with move hesitation, similar to lag during first couple of weeks of destard event.

    I really do wonder whether lock contention is a factor, investigating that would likely help EM events...
