Movement Issues Using WASD

Recently got back into pvp, using EC. Keep getting this issue where my character will become stuck running in one direction constantly and im unable to stop it without a relog. Autorun is off, have tried 2 different wired keyboards, and a bluetooth one, issue persists. even tried to change my mouse just in case.

Any ideas?

    Game isn't meant to be played using WASD. Sure there has always been the up/down/left/right arrow keys but those were carried over from the archaic ages of the pre Online Ultimas and in all my 25 years of playing this game I've never met someone who has actually played the game using those for their primary movement.
