I've never bought one, I thought they were new name 50% SDI spell books. If they give SDI in you Status, they work but you'll have to carry a full spellbook in your backpack.

Then see if a Chiv user can use them as their chiv book.

Well IS NOT A SPELLBOOK I CANT DROP ANY MAGERY SPELLS IN IT

Edit: book doesnt accept any magery spells from vendors, mageshops or copy by my own char.

“why does it matter if its a chivalry book?”

Does it show an increase in SDI when equipped?

If so, you have to carry a full spell book in your backpack to cast.

A caster will get the 50% spell increase.  It does not matter what kind of book you are holding.  Seems odd to me the choice but maybe they want it to be worth more to collectors.

This was was a Necro book but was also a spellbook.  Like the one you have.

So the devs are matching the type of book that that character would use.

It's entirely lore appropriate for Juo'nar who, in canon, is a fallen paladin.

Plus I thought that was clearly the chivalry book in the graphic?

Yes Following the Lore is a better way to put it.  You get the stats on the book. It has no magery spells in it. But you can cast all spells from any book in your backpack.

Juo'nar was a Paladin, right? Why do you consider this a bug, it would make sense that it's a Chivalry book.

Was widely discussed in test center chat and you could have had it free there..
