I picture it looking ghostly too. Maybe it looks damaged/weathered. Sails are torn etc. Maybe it could be set up where you can eventually own one by putting pieces together like the orc ship.
Most of the time death occurs due to spell damage because we can't run fast enough.
Adding this to fel for pvp - I can foresaw a massive debate as it changes the equation for mages. So leave it out of Fel for now.
