Making items by crafting is very balanced, none are really difficult. Finding some ingredients may be, but the crafting part is not. Class Dismissed!
In paddy cakes opinion case dismissed apparently he forgot this is an mmo and other players might have different opinions that are just as valid as his own ...
So 75% making exceptional is too difficult? Hop on the Easy bus!
I just prove what I say and not speculate and complain.
You did find one of the ones that I said was an example of difficult. But you had to copy someone else's info, I don't because I don't just collect BODs, I craft.
Wind Chimes 25% exceptional success rate for such a insignificant item.. That's one you could complain about.
I show you in game craft menus but you show someone eles charts, Ya you the crafter...
I'm not going to get into the personalities dispute, but I think taking all craft skills to 120 would be a mistake. I already have 2 carpenters in order to be able to make everything, with the second skill required for some of them. How the heck would I fit the skills in if they all had to go to 120? That's not to say that I don't think the crafting skills could do with some love, I do - I even sometimes wish there were talismans for imbuing when I'm trying to add the fifth property and just fizzled for the umpteenth time. btw, I mostly use the failure talis when making the new Doom gauntlet items for someone. You can go through an awful lot of ingredients trying to make those without one.
Now if a few specific people could please stop arguing just for arguing's sake?
Student Frodo said: And to prove how little you know Tiger armor, Garg armor, Dragon Turtle Armor
I see you did not even look up % chance to make the items you said were difficult. The ONLY item you listed that would not be 100/100 with a 30/30 Tali is the Dragon Turtle Armor.
The most difficult Garg Armor would be the chest 100/100 with a 30/30 Talisman. I only have a 23/19 Smith Tali because there is no need to make those easier. But the %s are below.
My Tailor Tali is 30/28
The Tiger stuff is 100/100
The most difficult items are the Dragon Turtle Armor. But the %s are below.
With a good Talisman, anything requiring 90 skill will be 100/100
The only time you fail is with items that require more than 100 Skill.
Can someone actually prove that we need more items to increase the crafting % when All I see is 100/77% as the most difficult so far. (there are 3 more difficult ones, but yall cant find them)
I think @ McDougle @ popps and @ Lord_Frodo just want to ride on the easy bus.
How many crafters have the aid of a 30/30 Talisman ?
Most of the time, it is one of the two that is 30 with the other being rather low... or, both of them being in the 20ies, mid-range, possibly...
But "both" being 30/30 ? Quite a hard Talisman to come by...
Therefore, having OTHER items which provide a crafting success bonus can indeed "patch a hole" in whatever the Talisman is missing, be it regular crafting or exceptional crafting towards the 30% crafting success bonus...
Once again @ Pawain knows nothing, go back to taming. There are a lot of items that can not be made 100% and with a Smith it requires an ASH
Another class:
Smithing has a secret weapon:
Study more you just fall into my traps. Actual logging in > theory.
So you are saying everything should be 100%? Im out of that argument with a big NO..
Cloth and leather are too easy to get to be 100% and they can be salvaged. Reagents are too easy to get for Alchemy to need better chances.
You should have chose Carpentry. But we are back to my question earlier:
Ask yourself why you need to make that item. And if you do, why do you need 50 of them?
Ask yourself why you need to make that item. And if you do, why do you need 50 of them?
Perhaps, just perhaps, because the gameplay of a Crafter, rather then being that of being a "Mule" for the self-sufficiency of one's own FIghting characters, might be intended to craft items and sell them to other players ?
