While I do think they should increase the cap (so that people will keep doing cargo) or add some new items to use them up; I do not think the change should be made simply to shut someone up. 

I don't sail anymore so I don't really have a horse in the race but I wouldn't want to be in this situation where I like pirating/beacons as something to do in game but due to the cap and the lack of new rewards to spend points on you have to decide to a) store all the cargo in your home (ie 100+ lockdowns taken up), b) do the hack work around by switching chars to turn in cargo (at this point some people might even be maxed here though), or c) stop doing one of the things you enjoy in the game because you don't have the room. 

I actually stopped pirating because I've been able to get 60K+ in all the high end resources and without much stuff to use those resources on I don't really want more than 2 piles of valorite ingots (etc).

figurehead (the one that was on the pirates ships during Treasures of the Seas)

I don't see any on VS on Origin
which I believe is your shard
