Global Chat turns itself off

I have noticed that global chat turns itself off.

Turn on Global Chat

Expected result:  It stays on until you turn it off

Real result:  It does not stay on when you log on and off a few times.

I happened to have it on just now and a Player lit up.

So I made a joke in chat:  Bob just got turned on.  Then his icon turned off.  He said he had just logged on and he did not open the global chat.

Maybe it is turning off when you log back on.  IDK  I did not design it.

    I've noticed that it is shut off when you go to the Ultima Store in game (along with squelching you for other chats), and needs to be turned back on manually when you leave the store.

    Yes it turns off then also.  It should turn back on like the other chats do after you close store.
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.
