The old way was to reach out to the EM of the shard. i would think that would be the best starting place. If it is handled differently they would surely be able to tell you how it is done.

To be fair, A lot of the historical Leather helms looked like football helmets because they were cheap to produce. But I grabbed a few of the better looking Non-Footbally helms i could find. a couple of these I would really love to have in-game.
