i can see both sides. i have an auction safe house and use bamboo. however i could live without it. currently the people without bamboo are at a disadvantage (or who own castles / keeps / classic houses) everyone being on the same playing field …

@popps cant answer your question for how i use them. they used to be pretty good in pvp because the original kotl ones disarmed, and were very fast. im not sure if this has changed. i just use them in pvm now as extra damage, but i dont actually…

well no there not as useful. but only 100 skill points. lets just say their alot more powerful than any pet you can reliably control with only 50 taming 50 lore.
-
you can train them like a normal pet, but not use advanced pet training. which i think is fine considering they only take 100 skill points its still a very powerful addition to a character. (i use one on my archer mainly) however, even normal tra…

thanks, hadnt thought of that. makes sense.

what i do have a problem with is items that cant be repaired at all. like the vvv epaullettes. this doesnt make sense as you can repair many other vvv items.

i think its fine. armor and jewels werent meant to last forever. i guess id be ok with better repair chance, but only if max durability were reduced overall to say 100 or 150. i usually repair jewels at around 40 durability and success chance seems…

its pretty balanced right now. around the time of of the pet re-vamp there was also alot of discussion of how to give more incentive for champ spawns. pet power scrolls was the answer, and it worked. considering that fel content is very lacking…

Note: there is no ability to edit posts on uo.com, so not all items may be available, and prices are subject to change (either higher or lower price) The best way to see if an item is still available and for current price is to icq me.

sell cannonballs off npc fire cannonballs with one click thats pretty much the only way i would participate in high seas content. the rewards just arent great enough to rationalize putting any effort into actually crafting cannonballs and taking ti…

they didnt work 2 years ago when i sold the last of mine. believe me, if they did i would have known because theyd be worth billion or more rather than the about 10m a piece i sold them for. lots of bugs in UO, always possibility a publish could ha…

theres nothing that can be done about empty shards. if it was a modern game there would have been shard mergers. cant do that in UO because of housing and peoples attachment to that. the only viable way to increase population on other shards th…

keep in mind that the popular begginer template in the game is the sampire, which uses necromancy. this would be a major change, not just in a pvm setting, but also pvp. its very hard for a lone sampire to defend a spawn, i would not like to see t…

The disco changes were the devs answer to the auto-switching suits problem, much more prevalent with the availability of 45 plus skill jewels now than it was a few years ago. Its a decent idea to balance the problem. makes sense it was put in wh…

@Mervyn how would you suggest updating bids in an auction? how would let people know an item is sold when theres 50 or so items for sale in a thread? only other option would be for each person to post there 10 to 100 items in seperate threads, …

@Himmelweiss thanks for the reply and opinions. this is the whole reason i made the poll in the first place, because i know my own tastes are only my own opinion and wanted to get a sense of others not my own. (id have to personally disagree on …

@Uriah_Heep totally agree with what you said. saying only reason people use the classic client is for cheats is nonsense. i dont even use UO assist anymore. i do fine. for me its the paperdolls, and the mounts mainly. and iconic pets like…

the rewards seem good. nothing amazing or game-breaking. the titles are nice. should be noted that the whips HAVE to be "exceptional" / max imbuable for anyone to use them. They are a decent whirlwind weapon, but still not as good as a double axe…

feature currently isnt that great anyway. only good for melee. ranged weapons and spellcasters it doesnt work.

im gonna say no. UO combat is pretty simple (its always been about timing more than anything), if that option were added you could basically just AFK everything. i realize its not really hard to an experienced player, but timing that 1.25 seconds …
