Re-opened, because the publish notes specify 'in game' time. The question then arises. While the character was not in game, was the pet? Are dead pets autostabled? or do they remain in game? The GM's message indicates that they remain in game.

I can (have, awaiting site update). There are 4 sets that are shard bound: of the three, of Ice, of Wildfire and Of Demonic Forces. None prior to that have the property.

Perhaps before you go down the route of using illicit, unsuported clients you could try using EC with the default UI? It's what I log in to daily. I have no crash issues.
