Re: the slots on the Ostard, in order for this to become a 3 slot pet we have to drop its stats down somewhere. So far I've seen discussion around dropping HP and/or STR. Looking forward to the feedback from the community.

Any kind of crafting update, especially where we are using existing items as ingredients for new item rapidly increases the scope of the update. It's not "just updating numbers in a table".

We haven't changed anything so any "all of a sudden" scenario is likely the side effects of RNG. That's not to say there couln't be an issue, but it'd require quite a bit of digging and right now, heartwood on ships isn't a very high priority.
