If this is done using some kind of unapproved third party program, I note that there are uses of those programs that have a greater impact on the game than this. A lot depends on the name. I've seen some special titles from Mesanna that were done as…

On the positive side: It's good to see things planned for several months in. UO's beginning to resemble DAoC, its sister game, in this respect, and that's a good thing.
-
On the negative side: I continue to maintain that a lot of the stuff they're advertising for New Legacy (for example, those NPC guild quests) make more sense in the main game. Oh well.

When the Virtue system was first coming out, many years ago, they actually said there'd be just that -- a "Knight of Virtue" title to represent becoming Knight of all virtues. I guess I always assumed they'd implemented this but now doing some readi…

One issue in this thread (and it occurs to me that I don't even know if it was an issue that the original poster was intending to raise, so sorry if not!) is a disconnect between different definitions of thief for UO purposes. Everyone's going to wa…

They really need to come up with Tram/PvM type stuff to do with thieves. Even if PvP thieving didn't exist at all (and consider that the Fel lifestyle has been a distinct minority of players since another option existed!!!), we're right now missing …

If you look at the supporters of the status quo you'll see some commonalities. Here are two of those, and my responses. 1 - Their primary value appears to be the 'relationships' they make while participating in this activity. That's fine. Lots of …

I certainly agree that there should be some kind of shard-bound control for votes, I'm indifferent to the mechanism. The idea of locking off the ability to register city loyalty during an election period, however defined, is also attractive. (A rela…

You are certainly correct that we should see votes, not percentages. But then again we also should also have shard-bound vote rights. As to the totals you're seeing, like others have pointed out, this is only a rounding issue, not uncommon in many d…

As others have pointed out, there are many, many options. So the real question is: What do you want the character to be? And/or what does the character want to be?

Same place as you but I missed that sentence. So the actual answer is that, officially, it does both: Massive HP regen and additional bonuses upon parry. Interesting. Very powerful spell. Thank you.

UO's theology is different from Christian theology. So the Seven Deadly Sins or Seven Cardinal Sins are out. UO has "Sins" or "Anti-Virtues" that are opposite to the Virtues. (Here's something to consider: The Seven Deadly Sins are less "sins" in th…

Isn't turning up the spawn rate with multi-boxers running around kind of asking for trouble? Also on GL, for me the level of spawn hasn't really been an issue. Sometimes the spawn rate gets intense enough as to warrant withdrawal as it is.
