I mean, I agree. Nothing in the game is here by happenstance. But I like these forums because we can all discuss and debate changes and additions in a venue that we know they read. Not to speak for the developers but just because they had a reason h…

Frankly fellas I think you should ignore him if you're that frustrated. Please do not take this as me being rude but it's just becoming a bit much? And Paiwan to your point about the buffs I agree they are more useful than players give them credit.…

Must every thread devolve into you all personally attacking Popps? Returning back to the point of this thread 480 skill points is a large investment for, as mentioned earlier, not a lot of synergy between them. Having 120 in each music skill improv…

Turning bards into an AoE class would be excellent.

Asking for more balance in the game is not unreasonable. Playing a sampire or dragoon (as I do) is considerably over-powered compared to other builds. The trick here isn't to lower the effectiveness of overpowered skills and classes, the trick is to…

"All dates are available on the calendar." Adding the dates and times to the calendar and then dropping that phrase in and out of game would resolve many, many player complaints about the nature of communication and events.

Pawain said: Expect them to last the same and you wont miss out. As I said, I did not miss out. But other MMOs generally place firm start and end times in their announcements for the convenience of their players. For example, check o…

Concrete start and end times are really not a lot to demand. I'm done with the spawn and with Deceit but people like to schedule this kind of stuff out.

You paid for more than just a vet reward over those 14 years.

I would absolutely take advantage of a $40 pair of shields. I love playing on my shard and will never leave it, but it would open the game up to me in new ways. Or, make an auction house that lets us sell things across shards.

Dragoons!

I'm going to stake an opposing viewpoint here. I would prefer the event not open up in Felucca on my shard (Chesapeake). I say this for two reasons: 1. The developer's resources are finite. There are some other genuine bugs with this update that…

I've run into this issue with the stories I write. The larger problem, though, is that if it is year 404 going by the day/night cycle in game and the game 'started' in year 289, events like the splitting of the facets and the burning of Trinsic are …

Uriah_Heep said: Why in the world would the devs penalize their collectors and players who collect items, and buy/sell/trade these items. The Jawbone and many of these other items have been heavily requested by the community to make a …

Broadsword is running a business, not a democracy. They have every right to enforce their forums in a way that represents their business product in the best possible light. This is why places like Stratics and the large UO Discord exist. You can and…

The original versions of these items are not shard bound, so they retain some of their value compared to these more recent versions. I see this as a pretty good compromise for people who spent tons of gold on acquiring these items previous to this e…

I truly think the Legacy shard concept has a ton of potential and I would offer accolades for what it can bring to the game. https://forum.uo.com/discussion/7382/thoughts-on-our-new-legacy#latest

Events, groups, and PVP:To be blunt, I have no emotional or nostalgic attraction to the era of the game where non-consensual PVP was the norm. Since the announcement I have seen many people suggest that these people are who this shard is for. I disa…

If you're a dedicated mage no matter what 120 magery will benefit you more than 115 or splitting points up into the other support skills. At 120 magery you will no longer fail to cast any spells.

I think they make the guild and player-city memorial at my library look really nice.

The constant refrain of "Atlantic is the only shard worth playing" is both nonsense and very, very tedious.

You're ignoring the fact the insta-stabling was put in to resolve random pet loss from bugs. Has this been solved in such a way that inserting a 300 second timer won't cause people to lose the pets they've poured millions of gold and hours in to?
-
And you know for a fact that the pet loss bug will wait more than five minutes for a character to be logged out/pets returned to the stable first? People still lose pets now, even without getting disconnected or logging out.

The Dark Guardian room in Doom spawns two fairly easy lich dark guardians that drop a stash to cache level Malas treasure map every time.

For those of us without shard shields anything that keeps wealth and items on our shards is very welcome.
