100% LRC and reagent cost are contradictory concepts and do not make sense in the same context. Reagent cost is a component in a resource management design. If it is possible to completely side step the cost altogether it calls into question just wh…

Agreed with 50% LRC cap, it is sorely needed. I would add that to make this pill easier to swallow, there could be "reagent pouches", similar to quivers in function that could be blessed or insurable containers that only carry reagents.

Reminder that this will be happening tonight - and there will be two starting locations, the Horse's Head tavern in Jhelom, and the Keg & Anchor tavern in Trinsic. We'll be starting somewhere between 8:30 - 8:40.

Visible-while-hidden may be better suited and more useful for players in a party rather than guild/alliance. Fog of war would truly be awesome but it seems an unlikely change.

So the casual player takes time out of their limited time to walk to their fav cave or recalls for less ingots. Most UO players have a limited amount of time to play UO per week and they do other things besides gathering resources and you wan…

What games have you designed that makes you think you have a fix for uO? I haven't designed any. And I don't need to in order to participate in a discussion about game design among other players. I have been here for 20 years and have seen some very…

Your focused on scripting... While I go mining the old fashioned way.. packies and fire bug in tow. The attention I give to scripting in this topic is focused on what scripting reveals to us about mining. There is no dark magic in scripting. All sc…

Hi Orion, the template you have isn't as outdated as you might think. I would recommend dropping focus and diverting that all into chivalry. While a sampire is the best template in terms of soloing ability, the classic paladin template that you have…

Yes, it is possible to have a template without bushido or chivalry and be effective, it's just a little harder because you would need slayers to improve your damage modifier to be the most effective (this is where bushido and chivalry help generally…

You really do have nothing to say, do you? Let's go back to your must stunning point though: Also maybe the market needs to be flooded so the scripters lose their control of the market and go away. Tell me honestly, if you don't care if the market i…

As much of the game as possible should be accessible to EJ's while still providing a strong incentive to subscribe. I don't have a strong opinion one way or another on EJ's being awarded scrolls directly but I do think that EJ's should be able to jo…

Deraj, I'm sorry, but having been mining in the game for 15 years now, your suggestions sound like someone begging for the old ways to come back so they can make things even MORE firmly controlled by the scripters than they are currently (and …

Let us also not forget that Catskills is the premier and official Roleplay Shard™ of Ultima Online, "the shard that Great Lakes and Atlantic only wish they could be!", so it must be the most logical place to drop in on if you are a roleplayer.

I dunno... I hate to be the rain on any parades here but achievement systems weird me out. When I was younger I used to run on the achievement wheel in some games. But it is all a very empty and hollow experience, and in retrospect achievements look…
