Pet stat loss

Why do we have it and is it still necessary today?

    So players can exploit pets?
If they would have stopped Stat loss there would have only been one period of those exploits.
Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

When a player allows their pet to die, having to re-train 0.1 skill really isn't that bad at all, infact it happens in normal combat pretty easily.

I think that pets killed while participating in VvV combat should incur a five minute statloss the same as players do.

In every instance (both pvp and pvm) tamers have multiple tools in which to prevent the death of their pet.
    • Logging out, then back in.
    • Disengaging from the situation.
    • Pet ball.
    • Healing the pet with: Magery, Chivalry, Spellweaving, and Veterinary.
