1. Open settings
2. Toggle Enable Mobile Shadows
3. Click Apply
4. Observe no effect
5. Logout and log back in
6. Observe toggle has taken effect

    I don't think this is a bug, some features require login and out. What it needs is a message to remind players to do so after changing the setting.
    If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

    Yes a message would be the easiest fix for this.

    "the menu describes "Flying Animation (Requires restart)" however restart is not required here, they put the text on the wrong settings"
