Did you mean to reply on some other thread?  This makes no sense.

The gloves are the archlich are an old bone item, the mage armor can indeed be stripped (which is needed to get to LMC+3), and the item can/could be enhanced too.

Seems like some "own goals" this time around ;)

Sounds like you want transmog potions for all slots then.  Or one of those Lore nerds.  Functionality is what matters.  Can wear a robe.

Nowhere in this thread did I mention transmog potions.  That's not even applicable to deathwarden greaves, and it wouldn't behave as desired even if so.

    Stop trolling, thx.

So, you care to explain why you want a bone version of an item that's already in an event that has started?   Did you bring this up at test stage?  If so, they denied your request.

I'll ask things or post where I want, I do not need your permission.

Pawain, I do not recall the last time you added value to any post I've made that you've replied to.  Critical feedback, I hope you can take it to heart.  It's time for new year resolutions.

Regarding bone, that is really already answered in this thread.  It provides LMC+3 if mage armor does not exist/ is stripped.  The leather item provides no path to this.  That's inconsistent with many other mage oriented artifacts (the gloves, and various arm pieces).

I'd fire somebody that took the tact of saying a piece of software cannot be changed after it shipped.  You're probably using an operating system that is over 20 years old, and is far more complicated than the game.  Somehow, that operating system gets changes of a feature and bugfix nature regularly, based on customer input and other factors.

You can direct further replies to me via PM re: this thread.  thx

Ok  you want to personalize the rewards to match your specific desire.  I'm sure they will do that.  Nope, I don't care to PM you.

I also see nothing positive, informative or community building in any of your posts.

Just a bunch of complaints and things you specifically desire.

Also this would lead to others ruining the item and selling it to another player that wants it for his mage that uses meditation.  Someone removes the mage armor, then sees that was a dumb idea then sells it to another player who wanted it to be mage armor but cant out it back on.

The Cuffs are the same way.

So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

@Skett ; Like the new poster that says he plays more than anyone.  Killing stuff is one thing.  Going from shard to shard collecting rewards, artisan festival, shopping and playing dollhouse is way more time consuming than doing spawns or killing stuff.  I've spent an hour who knows how many times trying to make an item fit in a specific spot at the right height.

On this forum, discussing this event, I have literally encountered:
    • An established player running what they called an "event-specific template" with under 110 weapon skill and less than 80 resisting spells.
    • An archer who was angrily baffled at the suggestion that he move between shots in order to maintain range.
    • At least two or three tamers who were infuriated that the decades-old paragon AI was allowed to target their characters and not just their pets.
If you made them fight real monsters they'd lose their marbles. They'd be all over the forum ranting that only a dirty no-good sampire could possibly kill these things, while "truly skilled" players like themselves stood around and died.

No marbles would be lost, you are still angry the mobs are so weak, you don't need a perfect template, just max weapon speed and damage.

I moved to the ant holes now,  much more spawn so I use my easy button swordsman. Have to buy potions since he don't use a luck suit.

Bring on some tough mobs with no LL!!!

Since this is your first dynamic dungeon, you don't know we used to have tough mobs that had tainted life leech before.  You forget your threads begging the devs to not include those.

I'm sorry, are you under the impression that I care what you do? I'm a sampire, I play on Atlantic, I'm better than you and I know it.

Yeah it's super impressive how you (checks notes) killed solens with a swordsman. I hope the "easy button" combat wasn't too much of a letdown compared to your usual high-powered gameplay experiences, like saying "all kill" and being mad that some sampire already cleared the screen.

More proof you don't play.  There are the exact same mobs there, along with the solens and other normal stuff can become paras.  The spawn is not based on amount of players there.  Each area will be packed when you enter it if no one was there.  The para guard solens shoot some pretty nasty poison out.  Also if the towns have Drakes, the holes have drakes, etc.

You can enter and go to the middle pick one more floor and kill that stuff, head back up and those floors will be packed again.  I only use DS when a tough para is on me.  WW most of the time.  I think it is fun.
I play to have fun, you seem to be irascible in all things UO.  Sad 4 U.

Maybe if you played UO, you would know this.

Keep this info to urself, few use the ant holes.  Maybe because they have to slowly find their way out when they die.  Most die upon walking into the crowds when they enter the first time, so they get frustrated and go back to the towns.

  • Yeah champ, I know there's skeletons and the occasional paragon down there too. It's pretty hilarious watching you list your little accomplishments and beg for validation. If I tell you that you're a good boy, will you calm down?

I was about to say.. the dev at BS solution was to do a pro bots region (way more rewarding than even the Fel city)
The ants hole is the perfect spot for all those sampires bots.. not sure how bad is the botting situation on ATL.. but u should try.. pretty sure it can be lots of fun down there on a legit sampire if the game was still fairly clean.. imo the dev pick this specific spot (that would kill any other build real fast) specially for this reason.. They did a bot haven with tight corridor (perfect for WW and aggro) and more spawn than the actual city (cuz of the regular ants spawn + 24/7; no need to take a break).

PS: when he's mocking your knowledge (for not playing) saying the mobs are the same in the city u would know if u played.. or when he's trying to mock me cuz i can't kill bots in fan dancer dojo -.-

He legit is not aware the special mobs are different on trammel and felucca city.. maybe he meant the special mobs in ants hole are the same as the TRAMMEL cities. But i doubt, cuz he can't even recognize a vid from the fan dancer dojo. His knowledge is VERY limited and yet..

It's so impressive how you killed those solens and bone knights, Pawain, you're such a big big boy. Oh were a couple of them paragons? Wow, let's hang a screenshot on the fridge for mom to see.

    *ruffles your hair*

There, are you happy now, or do I need to break out a sheet of those little gold star stickers like the teacher has at school?
