PvP unbalanced, suggest changes

mismis Posts: 168

12 years ago it was normal to see archers throwing shuriken, fighters with a mace, etc... now it is normal to see different mage templates.

After testing, I have found the explanation of so many mages, the speed of throwing shuriken is like watching a butterfly fly and on top of that the poison was suppressed, no matter if you put a high level of poison, it applies level 1.

All these changes I understand were because a large group of frustrated players could not use their mages at that time and requested to change all this.

But those changes destroyed diversity and logic, because if a high level poisoner poisons a shuriken for example, that poison is still there.

It is clear that there were many players interested in these changes when they saw their mages disabled by so much continuous poison.

To return diversity to the game, I suggest a revision of the speed of throwing shuriken, not to have the speed of a butterfly flying quietly and that the poison is the one that matches the level applied, it is fair.

    In that section it states:

'Discuss the tactics, trade, and fun of Player versus Player combat!'

This is not a tactic, it is not a trade and it is not fun between PvP combat, it is a discussion about a problem that exists, about an imbalance that happens and about an error in the application of poison, that even in Ultima Online guides still continues to say that there is an exception with the Shuriken Fukiyas, which does not require Posioning skill, when there have been changes that have because it does not apply as in the old days.

I think you are coming at this from a very narrow viewpoint.

    What is your template?

I understand you were beaten by one of our players the other day. You were beaten by a guy who has put infinite hours into pvp, and takes his skill very seriously. You've probably put in a day, and no thought into your pvp or set-up, I do not mean to put you down. Nobody beats him.

You would be better off talking to him, and asking to do duels to learn. He learned the hard way, dying a billion times, and talking, and learning from everyone.

Regarding the question of the template, it is irrelevant the question

because the question is that you throw a shuriken and it goes slow, and when you throw another shuriken there is a long delay, that has nothing to do with the template.

also the template has nothing to do with the fact that if the shuriken has a high level of poison it only applies level 1, when in the past it worked well and it makes no sense that if it has high poison, it does not apply that poison, it is like if you give an apple with lethal poison, the poison is still lethal, not that the eater has 0 poisoning, then level 1 is applied.

Regarding the defeated, I was defeated by 5 players who were in invisible mode waiting for me, players without principles and without honor that killed me in a cave with a stone wall and attacking 5 at a time.

The player that you say is so good and that nobody beats him, I see how other pvps kill him and he 1 vs 1 neither with his two characters could not kill me, in fact, there were 3 of your guild behind me and they could not kill me, that's why they did the cave, 5 vs 1 and locking me up.

I think I can learn little from a player who has no values and can't kill me 1 vs 1 with a crappy pvp mage template, the only thing that player can teach me is what not to do in pvp, and it is to be someone without honor and cowardly

by the way, didn't your guild members tell you that 2 vs 2 killed both of them? oh, they forgot to tell you that, I killed them with another player, who by the way, were terrible, they don't know how to play.

so do not divert the origin of the discussion for something that not only is not true but is not the reason for the debate, the mismatch and imbalance that exists because of some changes that ruined something that was right.

If there is reason, at the moment something is clearly broken.
And it's not a discussion, but information about a bug in the application of poison that used to work and slowness of shuriken throwing and suggestion to correct it.

Players have been saying that pvp is 'unbalanced' since the game started, and numerous dev teams down the years have made adjustments they hoped would help. This thread will NOT start a helpful discussion.
