Come back to Britain – A Street Festival

Do you remember “back in the day”, before the creation of Malas or the town known as Luna? Back when the West Britain bank was the center of commerce and socialization? Having an auction and need to gate people? Go to Brit Bank! Selling something or looking to buy something? Go to Brit Bank! Need armor repaired? Need weapons made? Journey just up the road a bit to the smith shop where you could find a crafter willing to make or repair an item, usually at no charge. Looking for help? Or just someone to shoot the breeze with? Looking for a pet rez? Yep, go to Brit Bank! Want to open a gate to send people to their death at the rat men? Wait, scratch that last one…

With the advent of the Endless Journeys program, a new area has been created in the once great city of Britain that boasts a forge, soul forge, stable, common area  right next to my favorite, a bar! On Sunday, June 3rd, we invite you to come join us for a street festival in the great city of Britain as we harken back to the days when Britain was the center of trade and socialization in our fair game.

Starting at 3 p.m. Eastern time and running up until the start of the PvP Tournament at 8 p.m. Eastern, we will be gathering for crafting, competitions, buying, selling, or just hanging out and catching up. This is a great time for any returning players to come talk to the veterans. Gates will be provided from New Haven and Luna Bank. Another gate will be provided  to the PvP Tournament arena  from Britain.

We’d love to see crafters able to repair, enhance, imbue, or even craft items. There will be tables and booths available for players and/or guilds. We are hoping to have books on the tables locked down where you can write up a little about what you are offering. This can be items, services, or even information about your group or contact information for people looking for hunting groups. In addition, there will be several contests with prizes. More details on that as we get closer!

If you are interested in reserving a table, please let me or the Governor of Britain, Xavier Onassis, know as soon as possible. We are trying to get a count so we have enough booths for all who might want to set up. You are more than welcome to just come and set up at the forge or stable or in the middle of the area. If you are interested in participating in any other manner, we welcome as much participation as we can get! Just give us a holler and let us know what you’d like to do. We currently have three events/competitions planned but are completely open to more if someone has something they’d like to do.

This has all the makings of a fun day of commerce, socialization, competition and combat. We truly hope to see you there and would love you to help us get the word out!
